Export earnings

Export revenues are the turnover that a company or a state generates from manufactured goods or services that are delivered abroad. The greater the export share, the greater the resulting export revenue.

If a company or a state relies on high export revenues, there is the risk of so-called export dependency, because the company or the state is heavily dependent on foreign buyers in order to maintain total sales.
