Worldwide uniform standard for the introduction and certification of quality management systems. The carriers of this international series of standards are ISO (International Organization for Standardization), CEN (European Committee for Standardization) and DIN (German Institute for Standardization).
In DIN ISO 9000ff. Quality-relevant minimum requirements for the processes, resources used and organizational structure of a company are defined, compliance with which an independent certification organization is monitored.
