What is cloud performance management?
Cloud performance management evaluates various metrics and benchmarks for cloud systems. It is used to determine how well a cloud system is working and what improvements can be made to the system.

In general, performance management examines the actual performance of hardware or a virtual system. Things like system latency, signaling, CPU usage, memory usage, workload, etc. are considered. When you apply this to the cloud, you'll see data moved from a customer's office or elsewhere over the web to a vendor's cloud storage systems. It also means examining how this information is obtained and retrieved.

There is a lot involved in cloud performance management that organizations can use to gauge how well systems are working for them.
