Waste regulations

The Ordinance on Company Representatives for Waste (AbfBetrbV) from 1977, which regulates
which companies have to appoint a company representative for waste.
The ordinance on the determination of waste according to Section 2 (2) of the Waste Act (AbfBestV) from 1990, which is briefly referred to as the Waste Determination Ordinance. It lists the waste that requires special monitoring.

The ordinance for the determination of raw materials according to Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the Waste Act (RestBestV) from 1990, which is called the Ordinance on the Determination of Residues for short. It identifies the residues that require monitoring.
The Ordinance on the Collection, Transport and Monitoring of Waste and Residual Materials (AbfRestüberwV), which is called the Waste and Residue Monitoring Ordinance for short. It regulates the collection and transport of waste as well as the evidence of the admissibility and the provision of evidence of the disposal of the waste or recycling of the residual materials.

The Ordinance on Avoiding Packaging Waste (VerpackV) von 1991, die kurz Packaging Ordinance genannt wird. Sie fordert, dass Verpackungen aus umweltverträglichen und die stoffliche Verwertung nicht belastenden Materialien herzustellen sind. Verpackungsabfälle sind dadurch zu vermeiden, dass sie auf das zum Schutz des Füllgutes und auf das zur Vermarktung notwendige Maß beschränkt werden und wiederbefüllt werden können.
The Packaging Ordinance regulates the take-back and recycling obligations for transport, sales and outer packaging as well as the take-back and deposit obligations for beverage packaging, packaging for detergents and cleaning agents and emulsion paints.
