What is terminal voltage?
Terminal voltage refers to the maximum voltage that a surge protector or electrical switch can pass before it restricts the transmission of voltage to a device or computer. It is a process by which a device or device is protected from surges.

The clamp voltage ensures that the input voltage to the computer or device remains within the baseline. An electrical surge greater than the baseline will be grounded through the surge protector while the device is continuously supplied with normal voltage.
