Foreign trade tasks

Foreign trade is understood to mean the goods and services with other economies. One differentiates:

  • Export trade (export)
  • Import trade (import)
  • Transit trade

The task of foreign trade is primarily to procure those goods that the local economy cannot supply, or cannot supply in sufficient quantities, food and beverages, raw materials (ores, crude oil, wool, cotton), unfinished products, but also finished products in whose production abroad is particularly efficient. To pay for these imports, we export goods that are produced more cheaply by us or that are valued abroad because of their special advantages.
