Shock advertising

Shock advertising is a subset of emotional advertising. At least part of the audience will find them tasteless, like exaggerated sex-related advertising. Example: The illustration of HIV-positive people and the oil-smeared duck on posters and advertisements for the Italian textile company Benetton, which were not directly related to the goods being advertised.
