What is SAP Integration Repository (SAP IR)?
SAP Integration Repository (SAP IR) is a design configuration component of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI), which is a layer of the distributed NetWeaver component of SAP.
This is used to design interfaces and to assign objects for certain services and / or for routing via system integration functions of the SAP Integration Directory (SAP ID).
