the Product policy is a marketing tool for a company. Your task is to design the products in line with the market and to develop them. Product-related tax law standards exist in all areas of the tax system. Excise tax law links the amount of the tax burden to individual products and product characteristics (transport and excise taxes).
the value added tax has a tariff system that is partly related to individual product groups. In income tax law, accounting treatment and tax breaks are relevant. Both decisions about individual products and product ranges are therefore tax-sensitive. Product groups with a particularly high tax influence are financial products (see also Financial innovations), Products with high tax breaks (especially real estate) and all those that are subject to excise duty.
When designing the products, an alternative that is as tax-efficient as possible is chosen. Both the tax treatment of the buyer and the provider must be taken into account.
