MLaaS providers offer tools such as data visualization, APIs, facial recognition, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and deep learning. The provider's data centers do the actual calculation.

Machine learning as a service refers to a set of services that Cloud provider offer. The main attraction of these services is that customers can quickly get started with machine learning without installing software or deploying their own servers like any other cloud service.

MLaaS provides developers with services that include data modeling APIs, machine learning algorithms, data transformations, and predictive analytics. Many cloud providers offer machine learning tools, including Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM.

MLaaS is often offered on a limited test basis so that developers can evaluate it before committing to a platform.
