What is LotusScript
LotusScript is an object-oriented Scripting languagedeveloped and used by all IBM Lotus programs and application collections.

LotusScript, which is based on BASIC, also shares almost identical coding syntax and structure with Visual Basic. The LotusScript GUI is based on the Lotus Domino Designer environment derived. LotusScript is mainly used in Lotus Notes / Domino / Smart Suite applications.

LotusScript is a member of the BASIC family of programming languages and has syntax and features nearly identical to Visual Basic, that is, code can be exported to Visual Basic with little or no program structure or syntax change.

LotusScript has extensive support for Lotus Notes and various applications. It also supports front and back end application services from object linking and embedding databases.
