Employers' associations

In the Federal Association of German Employers' Associations (BDA) as an umbrella organization, employers have organized themselves according to regional aspects and sectors. The association represents the common interests of its members, which go beyond the area of a country or an economic sector, but does not take part in collective bargaining.

The individual employers' associations represent the interests of their members in areas of collective bargaining policy, carry out collective bargaining, but also represent the interests of employers in all areas that are important for employers - for example: employer policy, labor market and social security.
