Demarketing - The measures that companies take in the face of tough competition do not always correspond to a strategic marketing approach. This behavior is known as de (destructive) marketing. These behaviors include:

  • Promoting price sensitivity among customers.
  • A hectic reaction instead of dynamic action.
  • No solution to basic customer problems.
