Corporate identity

Corporate Identity is a term that was coined in the USA and means 'company identity' or 'identification with the company'. Corporate identity is intended to create an independent, unmistakable and uniform style of the company in its behavior, appearance and communication with its environment.

The design criteria for this are unmistakable features, such as company name, company logo, arm lettering, company color or the language style of the advertising, which are included in a comprehensive communication concept for all internal and inter-company contacts and thus clearly differ from the appearance of the competitors. The corporate identity goes beyond the concept of the company image.
