What is CoolTalk?
CoolTalk was a plug-in Internet telephony utility for Netscape Navigator 3.0. CoolTalk was introduced in 1996 and included an answering machine and a common white board.

CoolTalk was one of the first VoIP software products. To be widespread among Internet users, CoolTalk was developed for cross-platform operating systems. Thanks to CoolTalk, statistics on VoIP users became available, which will contribute to the further development of future VoIP software products.
