The Club of Rome is an association of representatives from science, culture, business and politics from all over the world who work for a livable and sustainable future of humanity. The Club of Rome was founded in 1968 by the industrialist Aurelio Peccei and the scientist Alexander King. There are currently 66 full members from around 30 countries. The Club of Rome became famous with its studies “Limits to Growth” and “Humanity at the Turning Point”. The organization is based in Winterthur (Switzerland).
