What is cloud infrastructure?
Cloud-Infrastruktur bezeichnet eine virtuelle Infrastruktur, die über ein Netzwerk oder das Internet bereitgestellt oder abgerufen wird. Dies bezieht sich normalerweise auf die On-Demand-Dienste oder -Produkte, die über das als Infrastruktur als Service (IaaS) bezeichnete Modell, ein grundlegendes Bereitstellungsmodell für Cloud computing, bereitgestellt werden. Dies ist ein hochgradig automatisiertes Angebot, bei dem Rechenressourcen zusammen mit Speicher- und Netzwerkdiensten für den Benutzer bereitgestellt werden. Cloud infrastructure is one of the most fundamental products provided by cloud computing services through the IaaS model. The service allows users to create their own IT infrastructure with processing, storage, and network fabric resources that can be configured in any way, just like a physical enterprise data center infrastructure. In most cases, this allows more flexibility in infrastructure design as it can be easily set up, replaced, or deleted, as opposed to a physical one that requires manual labor, especially if network connectivity needs to be changed or revised.

A cloud infrastructure includes virtual machines and components such as:

Virtual server
Virtual PCs
Virtual network switches / hubs / routers
Virtual memory
Virtual storage clusters

All of these elements combine to form a complete IT infrastructure that works just as well as a physical one, but offers the following advantages:
