Certified Novell Engineer

What is a Certified Novell Engineer?
A Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) certification is a certification for those who install, maintain, and support NetWare systems and other server or hardware infrastructures from Novell, a leading provider of network systems. The CNE certification tests knowledge of aspects of working with local area networks (LANs) and other network setups.

A Certified Novell Engineer may also be referred to as a Certified NetWare Engineer, although the name has been changed to reflect the fact that the Novell line of products and certification are not solely focused on the NetWare product.

The CNE is a basic certification that can be followed by an MCNE (Master Certified Novell Engineer) certification. This will demonstrate a higher level of competence in network management.
