Cell phone spying

What is cell phone spying?
Cell phone spying refers to a situation where a person's location, messages, and conversations are monitored by a third party. Cell phone spying requires that the spy have unrestricted access to the cell phone long enough to install spy software. There are several types of cell phone spying, from a relatively simple program that tracks location data and sends it to more powerful programs that give the spy full access.

As disturbing as cell phone spying noises, it's worth remembering that a spy must physically gain access to the victim's phone in order to set it up. Some possible signs that a cell phone has been compromised are:

- The screen lights up at random times without prompting

- Background noise during calls

- Random camera flashes

- Difficulty turning off the phone

If you think your phone is running spy software, you can pick it up from your provider and have it factory reset.
