Case modding

What is case modding?
Case modding is the practice of improving, improving, or otherwise changing a computer case or case. Various types of case modification can be done to improve function, for aesthetic purposes, or both.

Different types of case modding are done for different purposes. Some types of chassis modifications include adding lights and / or sound devices that show CPU clock speed or other hardware operations in the form of flashing lights or tones. Many ways of aesthetically modifying cases relate to making a computer case look modern, futuristic, or otherwise providing an interesting aesthetic result, such as an exterior bamboo case or a case that brings the computer into another type of modern device . Peripheral case modding also exists where headsets, keyboards, mice and other peripherals fit a computer. In addition to case modding for computers, there is also the practice of modifying video game consoles, which is often aesthetic.
