What is BitComet?
BitComet is a freeware cross-protocol BitTorrent, HTTP and FTP client written in C ++ for Microsoft Windows. It includes a multi-threaded, multi-protocol hybrid download manager and a BitTorrent peer-to-peer file sharing application. BitComet was originally called SimpleBT-Client.

BitComet records file components from various sources using various client-server protocols to complete downloads. It supports simultaneous downloads, download queues, chats, disk cache, speed limits, proxy and port mapping.

BitComet is available in 52 different languages. It has the following main features:
