Apache nimble

What is Apache Flink?
Apache Flink is a tool for supporting Hadoop project structures and for processing real-time data. As a kind of batch processor, Flink works with the conventional MapReduce and new Spark options.

Flink was originally called Stratosphere and developed at the Technical University of Berlin. It has now become an alternative to MapReduce and Spark. Some of the advantages of Apache Flink are the ability to use the same algorithms for streaming and batch modes for low latency. It is also possible to analyze clusters and work iteratively on different nodes of the system at the same time. Apache Flink is also compatible with Apache YARN and other Hadoop tools. Developed in Europe, this tool is likely to become part of the specific ways administrators handle big data systems when companies get on the bandwagon in search of high volume data analysis.
