What is AI-complete?
AI-complete in IT is used to describe problems or results that are based on a strong AI system - in other words, being able to put together a computer system that works at as high a level as a human being. IT pros describe problems as 'AI-complete' when they are too difficult to achieve with conventional algorithms.
In a way, the term AI fully recognizes that humans are unable to build a computer system that synthesizes intelligence on a human scale. Because of this, these types of problems, such as human-level image filtering or human-level natural language processing, are described as AI-complete.
People are calling them AI-complete to show that they cannot be solved until humans find a deeper solution for developing human artificial intelligence. However, advances in image processing and natural language are leading to a discussion of whether it is possible that AI-complete problems can be solved by humans.
