Kommissionierautomaten werden für die Kornmissionierung homogener Güter, die unempfindlich gegenüber Stößen und in Schachteln verpackt sind, eingesetzt. Kommissionierautomaten enthalten zahlreiche sequentiell angeordnete Ausstoßschächte, in denen das Schachtelgut gestapelt eingelegt wird. Unterhalb der Ausstoßschächte verläuft eine Förderstrecke, auf die die Artikel nach Öffnen der Auswurfklappe abgegeben werden.
