Die Essigsäuresteuer gehört zu den abgeschafften Steuern. Sie wurde 1909 im Rahmen des Branntweinsteuergesetzes eingeführt. Seit 1949 war sie Federal tax. Sie war eine Verbrauchsteuer auf Essigsäure. Wegen ihres geringen Aufkommens wurde sie zum 1.1.1981 abgeschafft.
